  2. Frequently Asked Questions

    • Common Lab Equipment:- Biopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, and forensic science analytical testing labs almost have the same lab equipment for analysis.

Qualitaive Analysis: Qualitative analysis in chemistry determines the presence or absence of various chemical components in an aqueous solution. These tests are performed by titration method.

Quantitative Analysis by Spectrophotometry: Spectrophotometry is a fundamental analytical technique widely used in pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics and forensic science for both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

HPLC: HPLC is the backbone of major industries. The majority of non-volatile organic compounds are quantified by HPLC with various detectors. Some specific detectors, like fluorescence and electrochemicals, are used for specific purposes.

Gas Chromatography: The popular analytical method for isolating and examining volatile and semi-volatile substances in a mixture is gas chromatography (GC).The fields of pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, tobacco, petroleum, agriculture, and forensic science all make extensive use of gas chromatography.

Fume Hood: A fume hood is essential for lab safety to manage toxic and hazardous chemicals during lab experiment.

Other Basic Lab Equipments:  Other equipments used in analytical labs are distilled water unit, vaccum rotary evaporator, refractometer, dissolved oxygen, karl fisher,TDS,ovens etc.

Bioinformatics: There are several great online tools and platforms for learning bioinformatics, depending on your level and interests like; IIT virtual Learning Platform,NCBI Bioinformatics Resources.

Basic Lab Techniques: Basic calculation of chemical preparation (use graph pad or molarity dilution app), buffer preparation, Pipetting,pH, sterlization etc is included in every course..

Note: All basic experiments of qualitative and quantitative analysis of various types of products, basic microbiology, basic in vitro cell culture, and PCR-based experiments will be available on our YouTube channel from time to time.

Our Pedagogy evolve to make education more experiential, inquiry-driven, discovery-oriented, learner-centred, discussion-based, flexible, and enjoyable.

Validated Lab Manual provides a platform for understanding the basic of experiments
