Summer Training is an 80-hour, short-term program built around the same industry technologies as our full training track, compressed into a faster format — six standalone courses covering molecular genetics through forensic science, so students can build hands-on skill in whichever area fits their summer break and career direction.
Courses Available
Course I: Molecular Genetics Techniques
Hands-on training in nucleic acid extraction, quantification, cDNA synthesis, PCR, Real-Time PCR analysis, and gel documentation — built to fast-track a career in life sciences, healthcare, or food research.
Course II: Cell Biology & Drug Discovery
Practical techniques for cell-based drug screening, including tracking cell growth, running flow cytometry analysis, and observing cellular behaviour using inverted and fluorescence microscopy.
Course III: Vaccine Research & Protein Biology
Industry-ready downstream processing skills: protein extraction, precise quantification, and automated FPLC purification systems.
Course IV: Immunology & Immunotechniques
Antibody purification, ELISA, and sophisticated diagnostic immunotechniques, connecting theory directly to laboratory practice.
Course V: Analytical Techniques & Chromatography
Intensive, hands-on experience in quantitative spectrophotometry, advanced HPLC, and gas chromatography (GC) techniques.
Course VI: Forensic Science & Technology
