Gas Chromatography Workshop

Introduction

These training workshops will give you practical experience in applying cutting-edge technologies for better diagnosis of diseases.

Course Outline

- Basics of instrument including the mobile phase, system
Suitability, sample injection, connecting tubing and fittings
- GC System Suitability Check
- GC Sample & Standard Preparation
- Preparation, Preparation of Standard Solution
- Sample Run with Gas Chromatography.

Application

Gas Chromatography (GC) is widely used in various industries for the separation and analysis of volatile compounds. The pharmaceutical industry uses GC for purity testing, detecting residual solvents, and ensuring product consistency. In the food and beverage sector, it helps in flavor analysis and detecting contaminants such as pesticides. Environmental monitoring relies on GC to detect air and water pollutants. Additionally, GC is used in chemical manufacturing, biotechnology, and the fragrance industry for quality control, process monitoring, and formulation development.

Information

How does GC training strengthen your analytical career?

Gas chromatography is a standard technique in pharmaceutical, food, and environmental testing labs. Hands-on instrument experience makes you a stronger candidate for analytical chemist and QC roles that require GC method execution.

Which instruments will I use during the GC workshop?

Training covers the GC system's mobile phase and injection setup, system suitability checks, standard solution preparation, and full sample runs on a gas chromatograph.

What is the duration of the training and the fee structure?

Duration: 12 Hrs /  Weekend ( Pre Registration Required)

Service Charges: We charge fee to cover the expenses of chemical and reagents that is  INR 5,000 /- (Indian Nationals) & $100 (Foreign Nationals) for each workshop

Note: The program utilizes advanced instrumentation, specialized chromatographic resins, and high-grade analytical reagents. Because the fee directly covers these extensive consumable costs and dedicated instrument, the fee structure is fixed and non-negotiable.

Who is eligible to attend this training program?
  • The program is designed for undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral candidates (B.Sc., M.Sc., B.Tech, M.Tech, Ph.D.) in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, or Biochemical Engineering, as well as early-career industry professionals, QA/QC analysts, and academic faculty looking to upskill in bioprocessing
